On July 31, the 12th Annual Meeting of China's Corporate Social Responsibility, sponsored by Southern Weekly, took place in Guangzhou. As a fine chemical enterprise controlled by a state-owned key enterprise, Sennics ranked first among the top 300 enterprises for its outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility fulfillment and sustainable development, and won the "Highly Responsible Enterprise of the Year 2019" award, the most important comprehensive award during this selection activity.
With the sustained and rapid growth of China's economy, market competition becomes more intense and fulfilling corporate social responsibility has become one of the key factors for the sustainable development of an enterprise. Centering on the goal of "fully transforming into a science-driven and innovative company", Sennics strives to drive the upgrading of its strategy and provide great products, service solutions and new brand experience for global customers. Sennics has, as an unlisted company, issued the Sustainable Development Report for five consecutive years, actively engaged in social responsibility management and practice in terms of scientific and technological innovation, safety and environmental protection, customer orientation, partner empowerment and employee care, and working with all stakeholders to create comprehensive economic, social and environmental benefits. In 2019, the company invested a total of RMB 26 million in environmental protection, RMB 3.8 million in employee health and safety protection, and nearly RMB 1 million in charity and public welfare projects. In the face of the unexpected COVID-19 epidemic, Sennics established an epidemic prevention and control mechanism as soon as possible, strictly implemented related policies, took targeted measures to achieve smooth resumption of operation, and fulfilled its social responsibilities by making donations to and rushing to help those epidemic-stricken areas.
