On December 23-24, the National Petroleum and Chemical Technology Innovation Conference sponsored by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) took place in Hangzhou, to commend the companies winning awards for technological innovation in the petroleum and chemical industry in 2020. Sennics' project of "Development and Industrialization of New Process Intensification Technology for P-phenylenediamines Antioxidants" won the second prize of the Science & Technology Progress Award from China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) in 2020, and was designated as the demonstration enterprise of intellectual property rights in China's petroleum and chemical industry in 2020 for its strengths in technological innovation and intellectual property rights.
Sennics' innovative project of "Development and Industrialization of New Process Intensification Technology for P-phenylenediamines Antioxidants" has achieved the "one-step" continuous production of p-phenylenediamine antioxidants. The production process features low energy consumption, high quality and high yield, and basically generates no waste gas, waste water, and industrial residue. Compared with similar technologies at home and abroad, the energy consumption is reduced by 20%, the cost per tonne of products is decreased by more than 10%, and the requirements for equipment and operation are also lowered. 22 patents have been authorized for the innovative project, the team in charge of which has presided over the drafting of 7 industry standards and participated in the formulation of 2 national standards. The project has been highly recognized by domestic and foreign customers for its world-leading technology and product quality. Moreover, the project has created sound environmental, economic and social benefits and made important contributions to driving the efficient, green, safe and sustainable development of China's fine chemical industry.
