In December, Sennics was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal again for its outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. Its CSR indicator ranked in the top 18% of the industry, reflecting that the international rating agency EcoVadis highly recognizes Sennics' efforts to fulfill its CSR and pursue sustainable development.

An international authoritative rating agency, EcoVadis provides comprehensive CSR rating services for companies worldwide, focusing on the impacts of enterprises on a wide range including environment, labor, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. At present, EcoVadis audit covers 198 procurement categories, 155 countries and 21 CSR indicators. More than 60,000 companies rely on EcoVadis to reduce risks, promote innovation, and facilitate transparency and mutual trust among trading partners.

Nowadays, sustainable development has become a global consensus, which is an inevitable choice to stimulate technological innovation, promote green development, and drive high-quality development of chemical enterprises. As a world-leading comprehensive service provider of polymer additives, Sennics has, over the years, actively practiced the philosophy of "green, innovation and sustainability" in green development, low-carbon operation, CSR fulfilling and other aspects, and attempted to create a "sustainable ecosystem across the upstream and downstream sections of the industrial chain". EcoVadis assessment helps Sennics to better understand its CSR performance, identify its position in the chemical industry, improve the company's CSR fulfillment, and promote the sustainable development of the company. While winning the EcoVadis silver medal, in August this year, Sennics also launched the new action plans of "GoldenBee Global CSR 2030 Initiative", and released the "SCI-MAN 2030" initiative to empower the sustainable development of the polymer additive industry, in an effort to work with other enterprises to help achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

Su Fu, Vice President of Sinochem International and CEO of Sennics, said: "Regarding sustainable development as one element of the company's core competitiveness, we will work to ensure the company manufacture and operate in a sustainable way, and join forces with all stakeholders to create value for the economy, society and environment. Meanwhile, we will continue to enhance our capabilities in terms of technological innovation, environmental protection and corporate social responsibility, improve the health and safety of our employees, communities and even the whole environment, and ensure that the fine chemical industry develops in a safer and more sustainable way in the future."
