On June 27, Sennics and Honeywell jointly held an activity with the theme of "Digitalizing the Fine Chemical Industry to Improve Enterprises' Sustainable Competitiveness" in Sennics Anhui, and invited more than 10 media representatives to visit the factory to personally experience Sennics' efficient operation management and intelligent production. Liu Hongsheng, General Manager of Sinochem International and Chairman of Sennics, Su Fu, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem International and CEO of Sennics, Yu Feng, President of Honeywell China, Chen Yan, Vice President and General Manager of Process Control, Honeywell Greater China, and Huang Zhiming, Vice President of Business Development of Honeywell China, attended the event.

As the world's leading comprehensive service provider of polymer additives, Sennics regards information construction as important support for management upgrading and strategic leap. In recent years, Sennics has also actively responded to the call for integrating Informatization with industrialization and continuously increased investment in information construction. As Sennics' pilot construction project that integrates Informatization with industrialization, Sennics Anhui has been included into the enterprise list of "2017 Standard Implementation Pilot of Integrated Management System of Industrialization and Informatization" by virtue of its outstanding achievements in informatization construction.

At the communication conference, Liu Hongsheng, General Manager of Sinochem International and Chairman of Sennics, said that the report of the 19th CPC National Congress clearly pointed out that China is stepping up its efforts to become a manufacturing powerhouse, accelerating the development of advanced manufacturing, and promoting the deep integration of the Internet, big data, AI and real economy. Adhering to the core values of "In Science We Trust" proposed by Sinochem Group, Sinochem International has worked together with Honeywell in fine chemicals to continuously improve its competitiveness in plant digitalization.

Su Fu, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem International and CEO of Sennics, said that   Honeywell's manufacturing execution system (MES) can not only help Sennics Anhui standardize its operation, streamline its production management process and improve its business management efficiency, but also improve collaborative operation across different departments and positions, thus to ensure the smooth implementation of the pilot informatization project for Sennics' intelligent factory.

November 2018, Honeywell signed a cooperation agreement with the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group to facilitate the digital transformation of China's fine chemical industry. As a global high-tech enterprise, Honeywell actively supports the expansion of "smart+" proposed in Report on the Work of the Government 2019 to empower the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

Chen Yan, Vice President and General Manager of Process Control, Honeywell Greater China, said that, based on the characteristics of China's chemical industry, the MES is committed to helping related enterprises realize the digitization, automation and intelligentization of production process management and achieve lean, informationized, transparent and intelligent production management on the same platform. Honeywell is pleased to cooperate with Sennics to drive the digital transformation of the process industry and the reform of intelligent production.

At the conference, the two companies also accepted interviews on issues of interest to journalists.
