On the morning of August 29, the unveiling ceremony for Sennics--Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) Industry-University-Academia Cooperation Base took place in Shanghai. Su Fu, CEO of Sennics, and Sun Hongguang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, QUST, jointly inaugurated the Cooperation Base, indicating that Sennics has laid a solid foundation for creating an integrated, in-depth, detail-oriented and high-end platform for cooperation across industry partners, universities and academic institutions.

At the unveiling ceremony, Su Fu, CEO of Sennics, extended his warm welcome to all the guests, and provided them with detailed information about the company's product diversification strategy and its expansion plans in polymer additives. He said that establishing the industry-university-academia cooperation base is necessary for Sennics to strengthen technological innovation, diversify its new business lines, and promote high-quality development. The industry-university-academia cooperation base established by Sennics and QUST is a beneficial exploration by both parties to share resources and get mutual benefits. By combining their respective strengths, they will surely improve in R&D and application, and make great contributions to the sustainability of the industry. Su Fu also stressed that Sennics would always stick to its core value of "In Science We Trust, Innovation for the Future", give further role to its own strengths, introduce innovative cooperation mechanisms, and work to build a mutually complementary, practical and effective cooperation platform for universities and enterprises. By taking full advantage of the technological and talent resources and advanced technical findings of QUST, it would make even great contributions to the sustainable development of the industry.

Sun Hongguang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, QUST briefly introduced the establishment and development of QUST and the Party Committee of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, and also stressed that QUST would follow the path of industry-university-academia integration, work to apply technological findings to production, and provide strong support for the commercialization of technological findings. He further added that the Industry-University-Academia Cooperation Base is an important platform for university-enterprise cooperation. He hoped that both parties could continue to deepen mutual-beneficial cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and technical service, undertake greater corporate social responsibility, and create better social benefits while helping enterprises to make independent innovation.
