Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the fourth list of Green Manufacturers. Sennics Anhui made the list and was named a "Green Factory". Sennics Anhui was the second subsidiary of Sennics to make the MIIT's list of Green Manufacturers following Sennics Tai'an, which made the list in November 2018.
In recent years, Sennics Anhui has worked out a path toward green development of its own characteristics in areas such as the treatment of "three wastes" (waste gases, waste water, and waste residuals), energy efficiency & emission reduction, the integrated utilization of energy, and clean production by innovating with its HR mechanism and management mechanism. In the future, Sennics Anhui will further drive process transformation to make it greener, keep improving its intelligence level, pursue industrial transformation and upgrading, adopt advanced & suitable clean production technologies, and proactively undertake its social responsibility, to realize independent innovation as well as green and sustainable development.
In 2016, the MIIT kicked off the effort to invite applications for demonstration organizations and products in building green manufacturing systems, aiming to promote green development across the value chain of industries and across the lifecycle of products. A green manufacturing system mainly consists of green factories, green products, green sites, and green supply chains. Building green manufacturing systems is in order to accelerate green manufacturing. To date, the MIIT has released four lists of Green Manufacturers. This time there were a total of 10 companies in the rubber industry being put on the list of "Green Factories".
