On the afternoon of November 6, Sennics and Honeywell signed an MoU for cooperation at the 2nd CIIE. Tang Wenlei, Assistant to the President of Sennics, and Chen Yan, Vice President and General Manager of Process Control at Honeywell Greater China, signed the MoU on behalf of the two companies. Signing the MoU was in order to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two companies and drive cooperation between them at a deeper level and in a wider range of areas. Leaders who were present at the ceremony to witness the signing of the MoU include Wang Jun, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem International, Scott Zhang, President of Honeywell China, and William Yu, Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Asia-Pacific.
With the digital innovation and strategic transformation going on, Sennics has been striving to increase the intelligence level and information technology level of its factories, to make the company an agile and efficient smart organization, and to keep increasing its competitiveness focusing on the "Smart Sennics 2020" goal. Sennics plans to adopt Honeywell's related systems and technologies in Lianyungang. This will help Sennics increase the management efficiency and ensure the successful implementation of the digital factory project.
The signing of the MoU coincided with the attendance of Sinochem Chairman Frank Ning at the 2nd CIIE. Chairman Ning also visited Honeywell's booth, to get detailed information about Honeywell's products, and to listen to the report from the Sinochem Group's member companies about joining hands with Honeywell to drive their digital transformation.
