On March 16, Sennics held a plaque-unveiling ceremony for its Green Polymer Additives Academician Workstation in Sennics Anhui. Li Yongwu, former President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF), Ouyang Pingkai, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Shan Xiangqian, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of the United Front Department of Tongling, Huang Huafeng, Deputy Mayor of Tongling, Liu Hongsheng, Vice President of the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group, General Manager of Sinochem International Corporation, and Chairman of Sennics, Xu Chunhua, Honorary Chairman of the Specialized Committee on Rubber Additives under China Rubber Industry Association, Wang Fajin, Party Secretary of Yi'an District, Tongling, and Su Fu, CEO of Sennics attended the ceremony. It is a milestone event indicating that Sennics has started making efforts to ensure quality and pursue innovation based on efficient linkage among technical R&D, engineering exploration and industrialization.

On the ceremony, Ouyang Pingkai, Chief Scientist of the National Basic Research Program of China and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, underlined the Green Polymer Additives Academician Workstation's role in integrating resources of both sides and performing systematic work along the whole industrial chain of rubber chemical products.

Su Fu, CEO of Sennics, highlighted that as the company's first academician workstation, the Green Polymer Additives Academician Workstation is a positive response to the quality revolution. The workstation will achieve accurate connections between high-end intelligence and industrialization at Sennics, bringing technological, economic and social benefits.

Liu Hongsheng, Vice President of the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group, hoped that the workstation can become a core strategic platform steering not only the enterprise's technological innovation and R&D result conversion, but also the green and innovative development of the polymer additive industry.

Li Yongwu, former President of CPCIF, pointed out that the academician workstation is strategic "highland" for cooperation among enterprises, universities and research institutes, where technological innovation, product research and talent thrive. "Sennics should seize this opportunity to chart a distinct course of innovation and development in the new era," he emphasized.

Huang Huafeng, Deputy Mayor of Tongling, said that the local government will provide strong support for enterprises. He also believed that the mutual collaboration will bring high-quality and green innovation, contributing to the community and giving back to the society.
