On April 16, Sennics Co., Ltd. Lianyungang (Sennics Lianyungang), the 4th industrial base of Sennics, was officially unveiled in the National East-Central-West Regional Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Lianyungang. Fang Wei, Deputy Party Secretary and Acting Mayor of Lianyungang, and Liu Hongsheng, Vice President of the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group, General Manager of Sinochem International Corporation and Chairman of Sennics, unveiled the name plaque for the new company. It marked the formal kickoff of Sennics' new strategic industrial base construction.
Shi Haibo, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the National East-Central-West Regional Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Lianyungang, stressed that Sennics Lianyungang is an important part of the Lianyungang fine chemical circular economy industrial park affiliated with the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group. "Through participating in extending industrial chain and assuming the task of developing circular economy, the green polymer additive project will become the new growth pole for Lianyungang to build a world-class petrochemical industry base," Shi said.
Su Fu, CEO of Sennics, said that Sennics Lianyungang not only marks a new starting point for Sennics' entrepreneurship and innovation, but also represents its new strategy and gesture in response to the national agenda of technological innovation and high-quality development. He added that the new company will adopt world-class environmental protection, safety, and processing equipment during the construction period, thus to achieve world-class investment & output, quality and brand. In his words, Sennics Lianyungang will rely on well-matching resources, the advantages of industrial park circular economy, self-developed green processing, new technology, and technology imported from overseas to gradually form a "green and circular" product chain, achieve industrial upgrade and circulation and matching among upstream and downstream enterprises, and spur the win-win outcomes in regional economic transformation, in the innovative development of industry, and in the green operation of businesses.
Liu Hongsheng, Vice President of the SBU of Chemicals of Sinochem Group, underscored in his remarks that Sennics should arouse team spirit, integrate superior resources, and take "high-quality development" as the goal, "green innovation" as the driving force, "science-centered approach" as the basic rule, and "talent pool" as the critical safeguard. He encouraged Sennics to implement the plan in meticulous detail, turning Sennics Lianyungang into the company's strategic bridgehead of entrepreneurship and innovation with the fortitude and determination to create another Sennics.
Fangwei, Deputy Party Secretary and Acting Mayor of Lianyungang, stated that Lianyungang boasts big port, vast hinterland, and a transportation hub in the making. "It's a place to fulfill one's ambitions. It's a dynamic place with untapped potential," he said. He also promised that Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will be dedicated to providing best service for enterprises, thereby facilitating the implementation of the Sennics Lianyungang project.
