Former Chairman of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) Li Yongwu said that since it joined Sinochem, Sennics has adhered to the polymer additives-centered strategy and marched towards a broader development space by taking "developing into a unicorn with creativity, cohesion, and integration" as the goal and "Leading through Green Innovation" in the polymer additives industry as its mission, and continuously promoting innovation.

At the forum, Sennics also briefed the company's partners on the antioxidant business development and improvement conditions of the existing three plants, and said that the phase I of the Lianyungang project is planned to be completed and put into production by the mid-2020s and its annual production capacity of rubber chemicals, including accelerants and insoluble sulfur that are produced through new green processes, will reach 400,000 tons, making the plant a rubber chemicals production base with globally leading competitive strength and business scale.

Director of the Intelligent & Connected Electric Vehicle Innovation Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Yin Chengliang, In his speech entitled "Development and Influence of Intelligent and Connected Electric Vehicles in China amid the Current International Environment", he conducted an in-depth analysis on the future development of Chinese automobile industry, including the technology development trends for intelligent and connected electric vehicles, domestic and international environments, and the status quo of Chinese automobile industry. He believes that being electric, intelligent, and network-based is the fundamental technology development trend in China's automobile industry, and the automobile industry should accelerate layout planning, R&D, and production.
Managing Partner of NIO Capital Zhu Yan,In his keynote speech entitled "Development and Investment Opportunities in China's NEVs Industry", he shared his views of NIO Capital about future investment. He believes that technological innovation will significantly change transportation modes, and consumers' demands for automobile products are upgrading, so intelligent NEVs will come faster than expected. In the future, investment-related topics will focus on electric vehicles and core parts, new energy and energy Internet, autopilot and intelligent system, car networking and travel service, as well as new materials and relevant applications.
President of East China Normal University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Qian Xuhong,In his keynote speech entitled "Role of Chief Technology Officer", he said that the world is right now in a competition era represented by Industry 4.0, facing comprehensive competition about the economic and social modes in the scientific and technological industry. The main carrier of scientific and technological innovation transformation is chief technology officer (CTO). He also pointed out that CTO is not merely a person, but a hierarchy. CTO must have important qualities and innovation capabilities such as critical thinking, challenge authority, spirit of taking risks, and independent experiences. He hoped that enterprises should emphasize the role of, take care of, and strive to cultivate strong CTOs.
Dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Member of Changjiang Scholars Program Zhang Liqun,In his speech entitled "Green Development and Key Technologies for Rubber Materials and Chemicals, he shared the green development trends and key technologies for rubber materials and chemicals, and pointed out four green development concepts, namely green production, green product performance, green performance of rubber products, and green life cycle, as well as four key technologies, including the cyclic utilization of rubber raw materials, rubber chemicals, rubber composites, and rubber products. He said that the green development of rubber materials and chemicals is one of the important topics in the global rubber industry. To promote the future development of rubber materials, it is imperative to focus on the needs of tire enterprises and rubber products industry, and particularly emphasize science and technology, resources, environment, and health. He also briefed on Sennics' scientific and technological innovation efforts in striving to create a green and circular product chain by following the strategy on polymer additives and continuous investing in scientific research resources.
