On November 2, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (the CPCIF) released the green factories list in the petroleum and chemical industry for 2018. After going through a series of stages including company application, expert review and media publicity, Sennics Tai'an and Sennics Shandong both made the list by taking the 18th and 19th place, respectively. Since Sennics Anhui was awarded as a "Green Factory" in the petroleum and chemical industry in 2017, a total of three subsidiaries of Sennics have won this honorary title.
It is learned that the selection of "Green Factories" is organized and managed by the CPCIF to make a comprehensive evaluation of factories in the petroleum and chemical industry which are required to have intensive use of land, harmless disposal of raw materials, cleaner production models, reutilization of waste and low-carbon energy consumption. This is aimed to accelerate the green development of China's petroleum and chemical industry and facilitate the construction of green manufacturing systems in the industry. The CPCIF will give priority to the winners of "Green Factories" in the application and accreditation of state-level green factories and support them in leading or participating in the formulation of national or industry-wide green standards.
Sennics has long been guided by the "Green Development" concept. In energy utilization and process operation, it resolutely adheres to the principle of resource conservation and environmental protection and strives to make the technologies and the whole production process eco-friendly, so to realize sustainable utilization of resources. Three subsidiaries of Sennics winning the title of "Green Factory" in the petroleum and chemical industry means that the company's product quality and production environment have met requirements defined by the green manufacturing evaluation system, and also serves as a forceful evidence that the company is a leader in the industry. In the next phase, Sennics will give full play to its leading role, make consistent efforts to enhance its capability for energy conservation and resource reutilization, and complete the green industry chain, in order to advocate green production, management and consumption models and lead the green development of the polymer additive industry.
