On October 28, Sennics signed the Cooperation Agreement for Green Polymer Additives Project with the Management Committee of the Lianyungang-based National East-Central-West Region Cooperation Demonstration Area (Xuwei New District), which marked the official settlement of Sennics Green Polymer Additives Industrial Base in the New District.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Hongsheng, Vice President of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of Chemicals at Sinochem Group, General Manager of Sinochem International, and President of Sennics, said that Sinochem Lianyungang Fine Chemicals Circular Economy Industrial Park is a great project jointly launched by Sinochem Group's SBU of Chemicals and the municipal government of Lianyungang to promote the innovation and development of the Chinese fine chemicals industry. The launch of the green polymer additives project is bound to leave a significant mark on the implementation of the innovation transformation strategy proposed by the SBU of Chemicals and become a new symbol of Xuwei New District's efforts to march forward.

Feng Zhibin, Vice President of Sinochem Group, President of the SBU of Chemicals at Sinochem Group, and Chairman of Sinochem International, said in his speech that the cooperation between Sennics and Xuwei New District is an important milestone in the SBU of Chemicals' efforts to develop into an industry-leading innovative fine chemicals enterprise, as well as a major event to promote the realization of Sinochem Group's chemical industrial strategy and vision, and would play an active role in advancing the coastal economic development in Lianyungang and further building a national petrochemical industrial base. The both sides will work together to achieve all-win and improve the innovation competence of the SBU of Chemicals, so as to contribute to the economic prosperity and development in Jiangsu.

For a long time, Sennics has kept a foothold on the development strategy for green polymer additives and taken "Leading through Green Innovation" as its mission. Under the cooperation, Sennics will continue to abide by the green and ultimate development concept, actively implement the goal of circular economy development in Xuwei New District, and strive to realize the industrial upgrading of polymer additives and matching between upstream and downstream circular economies based on independently developed new processes, new technologies, and overseas technologies, so as to bring more innovative, high-quality, and green products for global customers. The green polymer additives project is planned to cover an area of about 870 mu and develop the initial capacity by 2020. The new-type green polymer additives industrial base will provide important support for Sennics' strategic upgrading and innovative development.
