On the morning of December 14, the 2017 Petroleum and Chemical Industry Green Development Conference was held in Beijing. At the event, Sennics Co., Ltd. Anhui (Sennics Anhui) was awarded the "Green Plant" title. A total of 43 enterprises from the petroleum and chemical industry received the honor, and it was the first time for the conference to establish the "Green Plant" award.
"Green Plant" refers to the petroleum and chemical plants that are established by enterprises based on the green development concept and feature the intensive use of land, harmless materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy in all processes, including planning, development, production, and operations. At the meeting, the experience in industrial green development was shared, an overall plan for industrial green development was worked out, and the green plants and products in the petroleum and chemical industry were launched. Participants also exchanged views on and shared green development experience and advanced environmental protection technologies. Moreover, experts from relevant authorities including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the National Development and Reform Commission were invited to the conference to introduce China's major policies and measures on environmental protection and the green manufacturing system during the 13th Five-Year Period, and organize technical exchanges and policy interpretation about the pollution control problem that has attracted wide attention in the industry.
The awarding of "Green Plant" honor represents further affirmation and encouragement to Sennics' efforts in thoroughly fulfilling green concepts, developing green processes, advancing green production, guiding green consumption, and contributing to green environmental development. Sennics will continue to pursue the goal of "ultimate green development", actively perform its corporate social responsibility, and lead the sustainable development of the industry.
