Recently, Sennics officially released its sustainable procurement vision: "Implementing Green Procurement to Build a Best-in-Class Supply Chain that Delivers Competitive Advantage", which adds a centerpiece to the improvement of the company's sustainable procurement work based on its sustainable procurement goal and strategy.

In the company's sustainable development management, the sustainable procurement vision is an interpretation of the perfect state of its sustainable supply chain, and the sustainable procurement strategy and goal are the "compass" and "cornerstone" for achieving the vision.

Previously, Sennics has announced its sustainable procurement strategy that centers on "adopting intensive control, implementing intelligent management, and stepping up efforts to shift the focus from transactional processing to strategic management in procurement management to improve its competitiveness in sustainable procurement management in an all-round way". Moreover, the company has also unveiled its sustainable procurement goal: "to provide sustainability training for all class-A suppliers by 2023; complete risk assessment on all raw material suppliers by 2025, and make all suppliers sign the Sennics Supplier Code of Conduct that includes content about Sennics' sustainable management; conduct onsite TfS reviews on more than 30% of the raw material suppliers and provide sustainable supply chain training for more than 50% of suppliers by 2030".

Since 2016, driven by its sustainable management guided by customer requirements, Sennics has participated in enterprise sustainability assessments represented by the EcoVadis assessment and onsite TfS review for many consecutive years, with Sennics Anhui getting 99 points in the onsite TfS review in 2019. In 2022, Sennics joined the TfS initiative and became its second Chinese member company.

For sustainable supply chain management, Sennics has carried out various activities related to supply chain sustainability for major raw material suppliers represented by the core ones, including onsite reviews, questionnaire surveys and training on sustainability, and achieved positive results. In 2019, Sennics officially released the Sennics Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes the company's requirements for its suppliers in such aspects as labor and human rights, health and safety, environment, business ethics and sustainability, and acknowledging and complying with the code of conduct has become one of Sennics' important criteria for defining qualified suppliers. In addition, Sennics also actively carries out the work related to policy documents as well as management and implementation rules for sustainable procurement.

For sustainable procurement practices, Sennics has successfully executed multiple "green procurement" projects represented by plastic trays made by recycled materials, shared trays as well as green and energy-saving vehicles. After officially joining the TfS initiative, Sennics also actively leverages and takes advantage of various supply chain sustainability management platforms, including the TfS Academy and TfS OASIS, to fully learn and digest the world's top chemical enterprises' concepts and experience in supply chain sustainability management, and then further improve and enhance its ability in this area.

Sennics' sustainable procurement vision will be organically combined with its sustainable procurement goal and strategy, and will help promote the construction of its sustainable supply chain, and provide clearer guidance for the company in "Implementing Green Procurement to Build a Best-in-Class Supply Chain that Delivers Competitive Advantage."
