Recently, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) issued a document to recognize the winners of its Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022, the project "Development and Industrialization of the Green Synthesis Process for the Rubber Antioxidant TMQ with High Dimer Content" of Sennics received a second-place prize under the Award.

This project has solved three key technical problems leading to pain points haunting most companies in the industry. First, 10,000-ton continuous production equipment for manufacturing rubber antioxidant TMQ with high dimer content was built, a new catalyst was invented and homogeneous continuous-flow production in condensation reaction was realized. Second, the continuous polymerization technology was developed, greatly stabilizing the quality of different batches of products, increasing production efficiency, and improving product quality. Third, a new process intensification technology was adopted to replace separation by distillation, improving separation efficiency. All the related technologies of the project meet the advanced international standards, especially the dimer and primary amine content control technologies, greatly enhancing the international competitiveness of the company's TMQ products. The project has obtained a total of 22 patents. The key technical indicators of the products exceed the national standards, meeting the customers' demand for high-quality products and bringing remarkable economic and social benefits.
