Recently, Sennics was officially recognized as a "Shanghai Center for Enterprise Technology", making it one of the 32nd cohort of enterprise technology centers in the city. This authoritative designation is granted by the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission (SHEITC) in recognition of the leading role played by a company in pursuing technological innovation. The purpose is to encourage the adoption of an innovation-driven strategy, to reinforce the role of enterprises as players in innovation, and to enhance their innovation capabilities.
In January 2024, Sennics was identified as one of the enterprise R&D organizations in the Pudong New Area on the district government’s 2023 list of such organizations. After that, it was further recognized as a "Shanghai Center for Enterprise Technology". The new designation looks at a company’s organizational system, facilities, human resources, innovation capabilities, and leadership in its industry. The core competitiveness of Sennics lies in innovation. The company has built a market-oriented R&D model featuring close collaboration with industry partners and customers. It has been increasing spending on R&D, sparing no effort to build a strong R&D team. Its testing center has been certified by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). The company’s performance in innovation has been improving. While gearing up in-house R&D, the company also adopts an open R&D model to improve research. A number of innovations have been commercialized.
