To address the challenge of climate change, Sennics has pledged to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions for every 10 thousand Yuan of revenue by 18% from the 2020 levels by the end of 2025 in response to the Chinese Government's dual carbon strategy. The company has worked out its own target and plan for carbon reduction in detail. Through its own carbon management system, Sennics has created a comprehensive carbon accounting system to manage and control carbon emissions accurately. To lower carbon emissions, the company is keen to innovate from the source and optimize processes. By appropriately designing its product mix, choosing green processes, optimizing technologies for reducing energy consumption and emissions, it is able to increase the utilization of energy and other resources. When it comes to energy management, the company has put into place a sound energy management system and energy consumption alert mechanism, which has helped to effectively reduce the overall energy consumption per 10 thousand Yuan of revenue. Since 2016, Sennics has reduced its carbon dioxide emissions per 10 thousand Yuan of revenue by 27.5%, and has lowered its overall energy consumption per 10 thousand Yuan of revenue by 23.6%. In 2023, the company implemented a total of 14 carbon reduction projects, achieving significant results. This allowed the company to meet the requirements of overseas customers and set a green example for the industry.
